Several distinct target markets will serve as an attractive visitor base for The Village Center, as follows:



  • Homeowners – The 1,000+ existing residences at Crystal Springs and 1,700 Great Gorge Village and Mountain Creek condos create a base of established homes that will provide retailers, restaurants and attractions the high density immediately needed for their properties to thrive. There are 5,000 additional homes planned over the next 5-7 years in the valley. We are fortunate to have real estate ownership patterns in our favor wherein aging baby boomers are buying second/retirement homes with a desire to have proximity to a major metro area (New York).

  • Resort Guests - Apart from the residential population, extensive year-round traffic is generated from the resort properties at both Crystal Springs and Mountain Creek, with over one million annual visitors. This booming tourist destination area has exploded with incredible growth, with tens of millions of dollars having been invested to date to construct world-class amenities.

    • Crystal Springs Resort:

      • 400,000+ hotel guests, golfers, spa visitors, catered event guests and sports club members

    • Mountain Creek:

      • 650,000+ skiers, snowboarders, mountain bike and waterpark visitors


  • Future plans within the Valley include four additional hotels, a conference center and an indoor water park, which will more than double the annual visitor figure.

  • Destination Day Visitors – The Village Center at Crystal Springs will attact an abundance of day visitors, similar to the success of The Crossings in the Poconos, Woodbury Commons in Harriman, NY or the destination town of New Hope, PA. This mixed-use entertainment, dining and retail mecca is just an hour’s drive from Newark Liberty International Airport and Manhattan, and readily accessible to the New York Metro area’s 22+ million population.

  • Local Area Residents - Apart from Crystal Springs residents, local area homeowners will frequent and be welcomed at The Village Center. Currently, there is no other commercial development in this area other than cheap, unattractive strip centers along the main roads. Locals will embrace a destination downtown, an age-old and now rediscovered dream which people long to experience. We are breaking new ground by discarding the concept of big malls and box centers by creating not just another retail center, but a true lifestyle community. Apart from stores and restaurants, locals will gravitate toward the village’s entertainment, amenities, beautiful surroundings and ongoing programs/events.
