DAVID LEADBETTER | David Leadbetter’s career in golf coaching has spanned three decades, and he has often been recognized as the "man who invented the golf instruction industry". David is known throughout the world for his innovative and creative teaching techniques. A PGA Master Professional, Golf Channel Instruction Editor, and Golf Digest Teaching Professional, David Leadbetter has been coach to countless PGA Tour, European PGA Tour, LPGA Tour and Champions Tour players. David’s professional students have amassed over a dozen Major Championship titles and over 100 individual worldwide tournament victories.
Aside from being the world's #1 golf instructor, David is also the author of seven golf instruction books, making him the world's top author of golf instruction books with well over two million copies sold. He has written and produced a number of instructional DVD's, as well as written and co-produced over forty television programs.

SEAN HOGAN, ACADEMY DIRECTOR | Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Sean Hogan spent his early years playing on the Irish National Junior Golf Team alongside golf superstars Darren Clarke and Padraig Harrington. Sean played his college golf for the University of South Florida where he earned Academic All-American honors and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. As a collegiate player, Sean made frequent trips to the Leadbetter Golf Academy to improve his game. During these lessons, Sean developed a great interest in the golf instruction, which ultimately inspired him to join David Leadbetter and his teaching staff in 1994. Since that time, Sean has taught golfers of all ages and abilities at Leadbetter European Academy locations across the globe, earning him recognition as one Golf Digest’s top instructors under the age of 40 and in Florida for several years running. He has also received numerous certifications from the most reputable golf institutions, including: the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI); Trackman; and U.S. Kids Golf.
Sean is a currently a Leadbetter Master Instructor and Director of Instruction at the Leadbetter Golf Academy at Crystal Springs Golf Resort. Sean currently coaches PGA Tour players Fredrik Jacobson and Ben Curtis as well as the leading LPGA lady player, Suzann Pettersen.
SCOTT HOLDEN, MASTER CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR | Scott Holden is originally from Bradford, Pennsylvania, and graduated from David Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he received a B.S. degree in accounting. While in college, Scott enjoyed a successful collegiate career earning six tournament victories and several other honors, including the school's Most Valuable Player award in 1980.
Scott became associated with David Leadbetter in 1985 while pursuing a career as a touring professional. He trained and was coached by David Leadbetter and his senior staff for more than five years, and credits David’s golf instruction lessons with the majority of his success as a pro golfer. During Scott's playing career, he played with and performed quite well against many players who are enjoying successful PGA Tour careers. After amassing 45 Top Ten finishes and two victories as a professional, Scott left his professional career behind in 1991 to pursue his teaching aspirations with the Leadbetter Golf Academy. Scott has been one of David Leadbetter’s top instructors for over 20 years. He spends his winters at The Leadbetter Golf Academy Naples facility and his summers at Crystal Springs Golf Resort where he conducts private lessons, golf schools, and clinics.
TOM REYNOLDS – ASSOCIATE CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR | Tom first picked up a golf club at age fourteen and was immediately hooked. From that moment on he knew the game would have to be a major part of his life forever. Tom played golf on his high school team at Delaware Valley High in Milford, Pennsylvania, and eventually went on play in college at Wilkes University where he graduated in 2005 with a degree in communications. During college, Tom took a summer job as a range attendant at the Crystal Golf Resorts Academy in New Jersey. This is when he truly fell in love with all things related to golf instruction, and the perfect golf swing.
As a Leadbetter Associate Certified Instructor since 2011, Tom is based primarily at the Leadbetter Golf Academy’s Black Bear location where he helps players of all ages and abilities improve their games. Tom is excited about this once in a lifetime opportunity to work and train with David Leadbetter and his staff. More importantly, he’s obsessed with helping golfers build a game for a lifetime!
SUE LEE – ASSOCIATE INSTRUCTOR / JUNIOR GOLF COORDINATOR | Born in South Korea, Sue Lee grew up in New Jersey. She played in a number of junior and amateur tournaments, garnering multiple wins at the state and regional levels, playing in the U.S. Girls Championship in 1999, and setting the course record at Peddie School Golf Course in New Jersey. Sue has also competed extensively in national and international tournaments alongside players such as Christina Kim and Ari Song. She followed her father, a KPGA professional, into the business, and turned pro in 2005. Soon after, she began teaching, and her passion for competitive golf took a turn, shifting from a focus on her own game naturally to golf instruction, and improving the games of her students.
In addition to completing her training as a Leadbetter Certified Associate Instructor in the spring of 2013, Sue has expanded her teaching credentials by attending several Titleist Performance Instructor (TPI) training certification courses in the fall of 2012 and early 2013, and is now a recognized TPI Level I, II, & Junior Certified Instructor. As the Junior Coordinator for Leadbetter Crystal Springs, Sue has also completed her U.S. Kids Golf Instructor Certification and has used her passion and skill-set to design a summer camps and a comprehensive junior game improvement programs for that includes a Junior Golf League, playing regularly at Minerals’ Robert Trent Jones Course.
