The New Jersey Wine & Food Festival at Crystal Springs Resort is a celebration of the world's best wines and renowned local and national chefs, benefiting the James Beard Foundation. The weekend's events are designed to allow food and wine lovers to meet and mingle with chefs, winemakers, sommeliers and fellow wine aficionados.

Spotlight Event! The Grand Tasting ~ General Admission: $125; VIP Admission: $225 ~
Saturday March 16, 2013- 7pm-10pm

More than 25 top chefs from NY & NJ serve sumptuous tastings alongside celebrated wines from more than thirty wineries. Taste culinary delights from chefs from the best restaurants in NY & NJ. Restaurants Participating in the Grand Tasting include Serenade, Ho Ho Kus Inn & Tavern, Frog & Peach, Zone 7, Park Steakhouse, Osteria Morini, Maritime Parc, LuNello, Axia Taverna, The Orange Squirrel, The Dining Room at Anthony David, Chakra, Innova Cuisine, Strip House, Morris Tap & Grill, Costanera Peruana, Crystal Tavern, Fascino, Boulevard Five 72, Pig & Prince Restaurant & Gastro-Lounge, Fiddlers Elbow Country Club and LuNello's Montville Inn. Live music by the 32 piece David Aaron Orchestra. An unforgettable culinary gala event! A silent auction benefiting James Beard Foundation will take place during the Grand Tasting.
*VIP ticket holders are granted to early VIP access to the Grand Tasting at 6:30pm and exclusive entry into the Grand Rotunda all night featuring VIP restaurants (José Andrés, Rogue 24, Restaurant Latour, Aureole, The Ryland Inn, and Hotel Fauchere), wines & champagnes (including Dom Perignon, Krug Grande Cuvée, Moët Grand Vintage, Metiss, Lail J Daniels Cuvée and William Cole Cabernet Sauvignon) and spirits.

    Who do you think is the Mac & Cheese boss of New Jersey? Sample creations from the top five mac & cheese chefs and enjoy Menage a Trois wines. Guests will be able to vote for the best chef and appoint the official winner of the cook off!

    Enjoy a wide selection of Artisanal breads, local produce, seafood and antipasto alongside NJ wineries.

    1pm-2pm Wine & Terroir

    Learn how terroir affects the flavor profile of wine as leading winemakers Philippe Melka (Metisse) and Brian Rudin (Burried Cane) showcases how and why land type is key to their winemaking process.

    2pm-3pm Secrets of the Crystal Springs Resort Wine Cellar

    Get a tour of Crystal Springs' one-of-a-kind wine cellar and experience the life-long collection of the late, great visionary of Crystal Springs Resort, Gene Mulvihill. Guests will also get to sample some of the rarest wines in the collection.

    3pm-4pm The Art of Blending Wine SOLD OUT

    Join winemaker David Marchesi as he showcases his award-winning red blend, Paraduxx, from The Duckhorn Wine Company. Guests will be invited to taste Paraduxx as well as create their own wine blend!

    3pm-4pm The Vodka-less Mixology Session

    Meet Distiller & COO Wes Henderson

    4pm-5pm The House of Bushmill's

    Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Master of Whiskey Peter O'Connor as he takes you through one of Ireland's oldest distilleries, Bushmill's, and showcases some of their rarest aged whiskies, including the Bushmill's 21 yr.

    4pm-5pm Dessert Wines --

    Top off your afternoon with a decadent display of desserts paired with an exotic selection of sweet wines from around the world.
