Waterfalls Tour
Duration: 5 hours
Description: Visit the 1st Raymondskill and 2nd Dingman highest waterfalls in the State of Pennsylvania just 45 minutes from Crystal Springs. Resort Naturalist Dennis Miranda provides natural history tour of the falls, fauna, flora and cultural values of the region. A good tour for any season (barring deep snow) even in the rain.

Where Eagles Dare!
Duration: 6 hours
Description: Tour the upper Delaware River headwater area in search of migrating raptors and wintering Bald Eagles. Visit the Eagle Institute and cross the historic Roebling Bridge in Hancock, NY. Loaner binoculars are available. Appropriate clothing preferably in layers, sturdy shoes preferably hiking shoes and rain gear is necessary.

Kuser Bog Natural History Tour
Duration: 5 hours
Description: Resort Naturalist Dennis Miranda leads in depth natural history tour of the Kuser Natural Area. The Kuser Bog is a relict bog with many rare plants and animals located at the High Point State Park. The tour includes a car ride to the highest point in New Jersey with panoramic views of the Kittatiny Mountains and surrounding farmland. Appropriate clothing preferably in layers, sturdy shoes preferably hiking shoes and rain gear is necessary.

Walpack Valley Nature Tour
Duration: 5 hours
Description: Visit the most scenic valley in New Jersey and the most unknown treasure in the State. See Buttermilk Waterfalls, cool dark hemlock forests, grassy meadows and historic sites everywhere. This memorable tour will provide glimpses of wildlife and birds everywhere to go with the beautiful wilderness. Loaner binoculars are available. Appropriate clothing preferably in layers, sturdy shoes preferably hiking shoes and rain gear is necessary.

Wawayanda Ridge Hike
Duration: 5 hours
Description: A little known yet well blazed trail that hugs the Wawayanda Mountain with a number of panoramic views of Vernon Valley and distant Catskills and Kittatinies mountains. This easy hike is 4 miles round trip on the same trail with no significant ascents and descents. Loaner binoculars are available. Appropriate clothing preferably in layers, sturdy shoes preferably hiking shoes and rain gear is necessary.

Appalachian Trail Hike
Duration: Varied 2-5 hours
Description: The Appalachian Trail meanders through varied habitats and levels of difficulty. Resort Naturalist Dennis Miranda is prepared to lead a strenuous ascent to the scenic Pinwheel Vista or a casual walk of the Pochuck Creek Marshes on the only handicap ready elevated walkway in the region. Mountain Biking The Paulinksill Trail
Duration: 5 hours
Description: Take in the fall colors while riding your bike. This former railroad bed is easy for young and old to bike on. Visit the Paulinskill Wildlife Management Area along the way and enjoy glimpses of wildlife including the 100 plus resident Mute Swans. The bike ride can be customized to meet you capabilities and comfort level Appropriately comfortable clothing for bike riding is necessary and your own bike rack is necessary.

Fall Bird Watching Tour
Duration: 5 hours
Description: Visit a variety of different wildlife habitats in search of migrating fall birds such as raptors, songbirds, waterfowl and shore birds. Possible locations include the Wallkill River National Wildlife Refuge, Pequannock Watershed, Ballyowen Golf Course, and a number of Vernon Valley stops. Loaner binoculars are available.
