The goal of our Ladder Play events is to allow new players to establish confidence and find players with similar abilities. This is a great way to meet new players and explore playing with different partners. Who knows - you may meet your playing partner for our official league coming next Spring! Each day hosts a new independent event (to play multiple days, you must register for each day you would like to play). This is not a rolling league, but members are encouraged to play every week!
Players will play competitive matches where they have the opportunity to move up or down courts based on their scores. Each match is played to 11 points or until 15 minutes. At the end of each match, the winning team will move up a court and the losing team will move down a court. If the score is tied at the end of 15 minutes, the team who was ahead before the tie will be awarded the win.
When you move up or down a court, you split with your partner and pair with a new partner from the other team on your court. The Activities Team will be onsite to assist with court assignments as you go! The goal is to win games to advance to a higher court.
Open to the first 12 reservations. You do not need a playing partner to sign up! Players play the entire event (one hour). No sitting out.
