My stay at Grand Cascades Lodge at Crystal Springs Resort was truly beyond exceptional. My husband surprised me with this getaway for my birthday, which also happened to fall on Mother’s Day, and it became one of the most memorable experiences for me and my family.
We spent four nights there with our four children, and from check-in to check-out, everything exceeded expectations. The resort was spotless, peaceful, beautifully maintained, and had such a fresh, luxurious atmosphere throughout. The rooms were beautiful, extremely comfortable, and very quiet. I was honestly amazed at how peaceful and relaxing the resort felt during our entire stay, even with families and children around. We slept comfortably every night without any noise or disturbances.
The location of the resort is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and such a calm atmosphere. The resort activities were amazing for both adults and children. We loved the multiple pools, hot tubs, saunas, and the spa experience, which was excellent and incredibly relaxing. The golf experience and the grounds were also absolutely amazing. The staff was warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind throughout our stay. The food throughout the resort was unforgettable, with so many wonderful restaurant options, but the French restaurant was personally my favorite. Every meal felt like a true culinary experience, and even breakfast offered an amazing variety of delicious options. This trip was worth every penny, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Thank you to the entire team for making my birthday and Mother’s Day so special and memorable for my family.

My Bestie and I went to GCL for a birthday weekend getaway. What fun! Great atmosphere, staff, and amenities. We did archery, axe throwing, clay shooting, and fishing. Zoey was the best adventure host! We timed it great because it was not at all crowded for our 2 pool visits. Coming from busy NYC, we thoroughly enjoyed the scenery and the sunny weather was a plus. Our one bedroom with fireplace was so spacious! The food at the Crystal Tavern was scrumptious! We will certainly be back!

Everything was amazing from the start. The pools and jacuzzis were perfect for relaxing, and the spa experience was incredible. The activities also made the stay very enjoyable. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely come back.

Nice weekend getaway with my daughter (pre-wedding). The room had everything we needed with comfortable bedrooms, kitchen and bath. Fireplace deck was huge and nice for our rainy day. We enjoyed cocktails and food at both the Crystal Springs Tavern and the brand-new bar/restaurant off the lobby. Breakfast buffet was good with lots of choices to please everyone. Every single person we encountered including staff, and guests as well, were so nice, warm and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the Cabaret on Saturday night. Super talented musicians and a comedian in a dark lower lounge that felt like an intimate speakeasy. Will definitely be back!

My daughters and I stayed at the Grand Cascades Lodge over spring break and they absolutely loved it. Stayed for 2 nights and they both complained when it was time to go. They loved the biosphere pool, but I have to say the highlight was the magic show we saw our first night there. Anthony Salazar amazed the children and adults alike and was so funny there were times that it felt more like a comedy show with magic mixed in.

We will definitely be back!! We enjoyed our stay here very much. The only disappointment of the whole trip was when it was time to leave! We enjoyed dining at the restaurants as well as room service. The spa was phenomenal. All the employees were kind, professional and very helpful. So many activities to choose from we just couldn’t fit them all in in one visit.

Mineral Hotel staff (across the board!) was exceptional and accommodating. We were there for a dance competition which made the facility extremely busy and hectic - an environment that I'm sure could make things challenging and somewhat frustrating for employees there at times. But through it all, everyone (from parking attendants to front desk to wait staff at restaurants on site to pool staff, to housekeeping, cafe employees, pool safety staff etc.) was consistently always friendly, positive, upbeat and helpful. I wish I knew everyone's names so that I could acknowledge them specifically - in particular, Sue, along with a tall, slender young man at the front desk - and the omelet guy (an older, smaller gentleman) at the breakfast buffet, brightened our stay!
Our experience at Mineral Hotel will surely have us strongly considering returning to visit again, and we absolutely will recommend Minerals Hotel to friends and family, to take advantage of all of the activities the area there has to offer! Great stay at Grand Cascades Lodge! We went for three nights and the whole family had fun. Our room was clean, bright and fully stocked. The staff was incredible: From helping us with our luggage to accommodating us last minute at the Tavern, everyone went above and beyond. While I expect indoor pools to always be a little grimy, I did notice staff constantly cleaning and sweeping. Our kids enjoyed the activities (especially the baby goats!) and the grown ups loved the wine tasting class (thank you, Susan!). The food was better than expected - our dinner at the Tavern was delicious, the food at the indoor pool was solid and the room service was one of the better meals I've had.

The indoor/outdoor pool was so cool!! We enjoyed the restaurants and all the activities they had to offer. Everything we did was just so much fun. The staff really put together a great experience. The rooms were clean.

The staff were cordial, friendly and very accommodating to your needs. The place is gorgeous and is kept immaculate. It was wintertime when we went so activities were limited. But if you want relaxation, great food we pampered, this is the place you want to be! A bit expensive though but well worth it. Over the summer, I can see this place lively, with lots of activities and still have that relaxation you went there for.

We traveled from Delaware beaches for our first stay and we have the most wonderful time. The room was great, we loved the hot springs pool!! The buffet breakfast was super nice, didn’t have to wait in line considering the large amount of people that showed! The snow made our stay even better. Can’t say enough about Kevin the bartender at Kites!! We also loved Jason at Frosty’s Cantina, these guys were top notch!! We will definitely be back and plan to bring more of our family to enjoy the resort. Thank you for providing this awesome experience

We love the activities that are offered! We did the dinner and show last night. The magician Anthony Salazar was fantastic! We had so much fun! The buffet dinner was very good. We did the glow in the dark bingo after the show and it was such a blast. My kids love the pool! We also did pony rides. All these little activities really make the trip memorable.

We stayed at the sister resort Crystal Springs but went to Minerals for the Goat Yoga. Highly recommend! Those in charge of the goats made sure they went to everyone in the class. Absolutely loved it!

We had a surprisingly fun Christmas getaway at Grand Cascades. Upon arrival, there was an issue with our thermostats and maintenance arrived two minutes after we called and the issue was immediately fixed. We had lovely spa experiences with Deborah and Kristin. We also enjoyed an entertaining and informative wine cellar tour with Paige which set the tone for the wine tasting with Suzanne. We had a great group and lots of laughs. Finally, restaurant Latour was delicious. We appreciated the creative locally sourced dishes on the chef’s tasting menu. Overall a great stay.

Our 2-night stay at this resort was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The room was spacious, spotless, and offered great comfort. The hospitality stood out the most—friendly staff, prompt service, and attention to detail. The surroundings were calm and scenic, making it an ideal place to relax and disconnect. A memorable experience overall. Highly recommended!

The place is amazing from the views to the comfort to the amazing food, the amenities the pools and the people were kind and welcoming this is our family’s new favorite place.

What an absolutely AMAZING experience we had at the Grand Cascades Lodge and Ballyowen!  I loved it so much we booked Minerals Hotel with the kids. I can’t get over how amazing this place is!!!!

Gemmy Dimitry made our stay so relaxing. He went above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable. He should be commended for the excellent job he does. You don't find ppl like Gemmy in this world anymore. Kudos to Grand Cascades for employing such a wonderful person. The room was immaculate and the dining was top notch. Entertainment at night was also awesome. Pool was clean and views were outstanding. Had great experience with all employees.

Beautiful Massive Complex, Clean and Spacious Rooms, Enjoyable For The Whole Family, Many Enjoyable Activities From Golf To Axe Throwing.

Last minute, short getaway, loved it! Beautiful grounds, great food, and relaxing spa. Our room was roomy and comfortable. Every person who worked there was so kind and helpful. Ashley at the Crystal Tavern was fabulous! Really enjoyed our stay.

Our daughter got married on June 6th, 2025 and this was by far, our best wedding experience ever. The staff, e.g., Dorothy who gave us a tour a month before, Sue at the front desk (so helpful) and the team supporting us leading up to the wedding were all exceptional. The 9-hole golf course, the Moonshine Bar for the night before party, the Garden Ceremony, the Sweetgrass Pavilion for the reception (w/ a terrific layout and beautiful outdoor daytime and nighttime views) and Kites bar for the after wedding party were all major parts of our wonderful experience. The multiple indoor / outdoor pools, some heated and some not heated with multiple waterfalls, multiple hot tubs and an outside 12 foot cliff for jumping, all led to a wonderful experience. Our experience was so positive that my family is already talking about going back for a mini / long weekend vacation.

We recently were displaced due to a house fire and had the pleasure of staying at minerals for 2 weeks while we couldn't stay in our home. The staff was so amazing and treated us like family… Overall it was just really refreshing to be in an awful situation and everybody was fighting us we were constantly losing our rooms due to the insurance company they weren't paying on time, and still their staffing at Minerals did everything in their power to take care of us and make our lives easier. And for that I cannot thank them enough.

Our daughter's wedding occurred on Saturday, May 10, 2025. We loved it. Special thanks to the bartenders and servers that were great. We need to tell you that Dana, Rebecca, Kaya and Terrie were wonderful without them the event would not be as great as it was.

The best overall resort in the state, and surrounding area. The hotel grounds are beautifully manicured, with many activities inside and outside of the hotel. Have stayed here dozens of times over the years and is still my favorite in the state. Staff are some of the friendliest of any resort anywhere.
