Grand Cascades Lodge is a AAA 4-diamond property and offers a luxurious, high-end experience.  Minerals Hotel is a more casual hotel and provides a comfortable stay for guests. These hotels are three miles apart  - less than a 10 minute drive. They are both family-friendly, welcoming adults and children to stay. 

Grand Cascades Lodge has three courses on site {no driving required} which are Wild Turkey, Crystal Springs and Cascades {9-hole}.  Minerals Hotel has a 9-hole course with an executive layout, which is complimentary with any package.  The Resort has two additional 18-hole courses {Ballyowen and Black Bear} just a short drive away from our hotels.

The Eagle Unlimited package allows each guest in the reservation unlimited golf play at no extra cost at 4 of our 6 courses. The courses included are Black Bear, Crystal Springs, Cascades and Minerals . There is an additional fee if the guest with this package plays at our premier courses - Wild Turkey and Ballyowen . These greens fees are heavily discounted with the Eagle Unlimited package. Tee times are required for all courses. 

Your tee times may be bumped in the event of an outing. In this case, our Reservation staff will contact you and determine a comparable tee time at an alternate time and course. 

We have an array of Resort dining options between both hotels. On-course dining is also available at Bear Den Grille at the Black Bear golf course and Owen’s Pub at the Ballyowen golf course. Open seasonally.

Yes, clubs can be shipped ahead of a reserved tee time.

Golf carts are mandatory and all quoted prices include cart fees, except for Minerals. Minerals charges $8 per 9-holes for a two seater cart, and $20 per 9-holes for family four-seater carts.  Ballyowen is the only course where walking is allowed. {$20 discount if guest uses a caddie at Ballyowen, the only course which offers this option.}

  • Links-style course with virtually no trees sitting atop a 250-acre plateau with fairways surrounded by tall native fescue grasses.  Designed by Roger Rulewich (one of the 10 best golf course architects in the world), Ballyowen is our premier course.  Perennially named the #1 public course by various publications including Zagats, New Jersey Golf, Golf Styles NJ and Golfweek magazine.
• Black Bear - 18 holes – Par 72
  • Black Bear is designed for enjoyment, yet offers a fair challenge for experts and beginners alike.   The scenic wooded layout is designed for golfers of every skill level and is perfect for the recreational golfer. The course also offers various games such as darts and pool.
• Cascades - 9 holes – Par 36 (Par 72 if doing 18 holes)
  • Nationally renowned golf course architect Roger Rulewich (one of the 10 best golf course architects in the world) is at the helm of this course’s design -- his fourth at Crystal Springs Resort, including the Wild Turkey and Ballyowen Golf Clubs.  The course’s design stresses playability and feature junior tees to make the course more enjoyable for those new to the game. 
• Crystal Springs - 18 holes – Par 72
  • Crystal Springs is considered New Jersey’s most challenging and scenic golf course. Hallmarks of the course are the sculpted mounts which frame the fairways and the greens.  The signature hole is the famous 11th where the tees sit 80 feet above the green on top of a cliff overlooking a quarry.
• Minerals Golf Club – Executive Nine
  • Known locally as the best 9-hole golf course in the region, Minerals’ Rulewich-designed executive-style layout is perfect for every member of the family. Advanced players can be challenged on a spectacular mountainside layout, while juniors have their own tees way ahead of mom and dad.  The course features superbly manicured bent grass fairways, two sets of cups per hole and family-friendly amenities.
• Wild Turkey - 18 holes – Par 71
  • Wild Turkey plays long from the blacks and offers the perfect combination of generous fairways and challenging par 3's.  It can best be described as basin & ridge with elevation changes and plunging ridges.  Bring every club in your bag to play this popular course.

The breakfast credit of $40 per day must be used at the breakfast buffet if it is open that morning. It can only be used at the main restaurant on site if there is no breakfast buffet that day. 

Full 18-hole rain checks will be granted to golfers who have completed {3} holes or less and who have experienced a significant change in weather conditions since the commencement of their round.

Pro-rated checks will be granted to golfers who have completed between {4} and (15) holes and who have experienced a significant change in weather conditions since the commencement of their round.  

{Pro-rated rain checks are calculated by multiplying the group’s greens fee amount by the # of holes remaining to be played divided by 18 holes}.
